Advice to Students:

Be open to many different kinds of roles in your first few years out of school—don’t worry too much about not getting the perfect job immediately! You will spend those years learning the essentials of office life and how businesses/organizations run, which will help you wherever you go. As long as you can point to a through-line across your work experiences, like a passion for education, research, or communications, you will develop the skills and demonstrate the interest needed to propel you to where you want to end up.
