Roiana Reid (she/her) is Vice President, Lead Economist, U.S. As an economist at the Mastercard Economics Institute, Roiana’s responsibilities include the development and delivery of differentiated economic, financial, policy, and market thought leadership for customers and colleagues at Mastercard. Roiana joined Mastercard in 2022 and covers the U.S. economy. Prior to joining Mastercard, Roiana was at KKR, where she performed macroeconomic analyses for the Real Estate and Private Equity Consumer Investment teams. Roiana also worked at Berenberg Capital Markets and Nomura Securities, where she analyzed the U.S. economy. Roiana graduated with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from Vassar and a master’s degree in information and data science from the University of California, Berkeley, and is a member of the National and New York Associations for Business Economics.
