A product design lead with a 3D, Computer Science, and motion graphics background, Munish Dabas (he/him) has been guiding multidisciplinary teams in creating effective UIs through design thinking, prototyping, and user testing for the past 15+ years. Currently a lead designer on Google Play Games, he formerly led the UX Engineering team at Google Maps driving prototyping and UX innovation. Prior to that, he was a design technologist at Amazon and Sports Illustrated/Time Inc. Munish is also an avid educator, formerly an adjunct professor of Interactive Design at NYU and Parsons.
Advice to Students:
Have a general plan, but don’t be rigid! Be open to shifts in your career path.
