Ehimwenma (Emma) Osagie (she/her) is a Registered Nurse at NYC Health + Hospitals/Gotham Health, where she specializes in Women’s Health. She brings over three years of nursing experience, grounded in patient-centered care, community health, and health equity. Before transitioning into outpatient care, she was a Labor and Delivery nurse, supporting patients through some of the most significant and vulnerable moments of their lives. With a master’s degree in nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing and a strong foundation in both inpatient and outpatient settings, Emma has built a career around providing compassionate, culturally informed care to diverse populations across New York City. Emma is committed to lifelong learning and building a fulfilling life rooted in service, wellness, and community.

Advice to Students:

Say yes to people and experiences that spark your curiosity. Build community, form real relationships, and don’t underestimate how much support and opportunity can come from the people around you. Try things, change your mind, and try something else. You are not locked into one career or one version of yourself! Very few paths are linear, and that’s a good thing. Every role, pivot, and detour teaches you something useful. Give yourself permission to explore, evolve, and figure it out as you go.
