Advice to Students:

Think ahead to the life you envision for yourself at 40. Choose a career that aligns with that vision, not just for the job itself, but for the life it enables. Consider where you’d want to live, the lifestyle you value, and the work-life balance that’s right for you. Reflect on whether you prefer a structured career path with clear milestones or an entrepreneurial route where you create your own success. These insights can guide you toward a profession that truly fits. Once you have a direction in mind, take the initiative to meet and speak with people in that field. Ask questions, seek advice, and learn about both the rewards and challenges they face. Don’t hesitate to leverage all your resources: professors, alumni networks, family connections, and online communities. Being proactive and well-informed now will pay off tremendously as you begin building a fulfilling career.
