Overview

Global Marketing Associate, L’Oreal
New York, NY

  • BA, History, Vassar College

Sarah Kopp (she/her) is a beauty marketer with experience across consumer goods, brand storytelling, and product innovation. She began her career in beauty journalism while at Vassar, writing and interning for Harper’s BAZAAR, Cosmopolitan, and Teen Vogue, where she developed a love for beauty. During the pandemic, she transitioned into marketing—supported by the Vassar network—and joined StriVectin as a marketing intern. After graduating, she co-founded The Rootist, a sustainable hair-care brand that she launched at Sephora, gaining firsthand experience in brand building, go-to-market strategy, and founder-level execution. She then moved to L’Oréal, where she has held roles at Redken, SkinCeuticals, and now IT Cosmetics. As part of L’Oréal’s Management Trainee Program, she is completing a comprehensive rotation across global, operational, and commercial marketing, sharpening her ability to bridge strategy, creativity, and execution across the world’s largest beauty portfolios. Sarah’s favorite career experiences have been signing Sabrina Carpenter to be the face of her Redken launch and watching The Rootist launch exclusively to Sephora.
