Dr. Alyssa Pabalan (she/her) is a board-certified Emergency Medicine physician with extensive experience working in community hospitals. After graduating from Vassar, she earned her medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her residency training within the Henry Ford Health System in Michigan, where she also served as Chief Resident, and now works in the Chicago suburbs. Dr. Pabalan has spent much of her career working in fast-paced emergency settings. In addition to her clinical work, she previously held the role of Associate Medical Director and worked at a teaching hospital. She currently volunteers with the American Board of Emergency Medicine as an Oral Examiner, contributing to the certification process for Emergency Medicine professionals. With a strong passion for acute care, Dr. Pabalan enjoys the variety and challenges of Emergency Medicine, including opportunities to work with a diverse patient population, make a significant, immediate impact during critical moments, and collaborate in a strong, team-oriented environment with other healthcare professionals.
